About us
We are an innovative technology consultancy with over 150+ digital product experts across Finland, Sweden and soon more countries in Europe. Since 2008, we’ve been building mobile experiences and digital consumer services for users in fields such as media, finance, travel, sport, health and retail. We create digital products that delight users and drive real business impact. We’re not a typical top-down corporation. Instead, we’re an inclusive work community where every individual can influence how we roll.
As a consultancy, our work happens where it makes the most sense: partly remote, partly at our own offices, and partly at our client premises. Variety is part of everyday life at Qvik.
Your role
You’ll work across the entire product stack, building robust backend services and intuitive frontend experiences that users rely on every day.
You’ll collaborate closely with fellow Qvikies, client teams and our sales colleagues to help clients understand their real needs, both from a technical and business perspective. This means asking the right questions, challenging assumptions when needed, and helping shape solutions that make sense not only technically, but also commercially and strategically.
In this role, you’ll get to take technical ownership, make pragmatic architectural decisions, and guide teams through complex problem spaces. You’ll work in modern development environments, using contemporary tools and practices.
Design and develop high-quality, scalable full-stack solutions
Build and maintain modern frontend applications and backend services
Design and integrate APIs, microservices and data flows
Help clients clarify requirements, trade-offs and priorities from both business and technical viewpoints
Support sales and pre-sales work by contributing technical insight, solution ideas and estimations
Build CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments
Work with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Use modern development tooling, including AI-assisted workflows, as part of everyday development
Collaborate closely with designers, developers, sales and client stakeholders
Who we’re looking for
7+ years of experience in full-stack or software development
Strong backend skills with technologies such as Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Go or Java
Solid frontend experience with modern frameworks (e.g. React, Next, Angular or similar)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar), and the ability to use them thoughtfully as part of a professional development workflow
Experience working in a consulting environment, or a clear interest in the advisory side of software development
Ability and willingness to engage with clients, understand their business context, and translate needs into practical technical solutions
Confidence to support sales and pre-sales activities, such as technical discussions, workshops or solution planning
Ability to take responsibility, support less experienced developers and contribute to technical direction
Strong communication skills in Finnish and English
What we offer
We prioritize a great and healthy work culture, continuous learning and a sustainable work-life balance. Our standard benefits package is also pretty nice: lunch, culture, sports and commuter benefits. Naturally, we provide the work tools and phone of your choice.
You’ll also get occupational health care with extended health insurance, travel and accident insurance, and plenty of company-supported sports and hobby opportunities. Supporting our people’s wellbeing is essential to us. We offer sick-child care services for smoother flu seasons and mental health support for life’s challenges.
Our community glue is our people: warm, welcoming, supportive and highly experienced professionals who genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge and learning from one another. Many Qvikies also share common hobbies — from swimming and hiking to casual darts games at the office.
The salary for this position is between €5,800–6,700/month, depending on your skills and experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to become a Qvik shareholder.
On top of that, we offer a low-hierarchy culture, flexible working hours, a true hybrid working model (remote, office and client work), a wide variety of projects, and excellent opportunities for professional growth and learning.
OK, so what next?
